Looked good on paper; however, red flags went up when he arrived for orientation. During orientation, he kept interrupting, and was playing games on his phone. While waiting for management to get everything in order to give him a truck, he wondered around disturbing staff and was acting very erratic and anxious. He disappeared before management was done getting him set up. He came into the office again the next morning, with the same odd behaviors and it was decided that he is a safety risk. He was told to go home and we'd call him as soon as a truck became available for him, that it would be a couple of weeks. He was later informed that we had decided to proceed with another candidate after he would not leave. He was harassing other company drivers, new hires mainly, about equipment they were getting or had. He even interrupted a meeting between safety and another new hire. Several hours after he was asked to leave he was still driving around the truck lot in his personal vehicle. An office managers had to go out and tell him he had to leave. Writer can not comment on his driving; however, something seems to be really off with Charles, hire at your own risk.
