Driver applied with us and went through the entire process, application, drug test, plane ticket, etc. The company paid for all of it, and he got to the office so we can finalize everything. As soon as he got here he started requesting a hotel for the night, and was told he's got a truck ready and will have a load soon after he puts his stuff in it, to which he said he doesn't want to sleep in a dirty truck. When asked why would he think he would be put in a dirty truck, especially since he didn't even see it yet, he ignored the question and switched his answer to say he doesn't have a pillow and a blanket. Our recruiter offered several options to him, like taking him to purchase stuff he needs, or sending him home on his first load to pick it up from his house, to which he started being agitated and kept insisting on a hotel. He said he doesn't want to work for us at that point, and when he was told he would be expected to give back the money invested to get him to the office, he said he will work for us then. Then changed his mind again to say he won't work for us nor will he pay us back for anything. His attitude showed us this guy will be very problematic to work with, so we decided to eat up the cost incurred to get him to the office and not to proceed with hiring process. His response to that was to cuss us out via several messages, threaten and linger around the office until asked to leave again. Save yourself the trouble and money and avoid this guy
