Not trust worthily driver's - without any reason abandoned the truck when he was passing home in KY. Driver got paid 4k Friday paycheck- We train this guy- we paid for the training- even with his Language barrier we Hired him. This guys doesn't know how to watch the tire's pressure- Had 4 flat tire in jus 4 day's. Damaged the truck too - Driver got another chance and in the end off the Day he screw us good!! We don't recommend this driver. He worked with us for less than a month and didn't want to follow the company policies.

This guy, abandoned our truck, drove until the fuel was gone. He promised me bring the truck to the yard, but lied to me and tried to go home, but I knew he will go home and we stopped the fuel cards, then he was begging to get the fuel but I told him he has to go back on the route then he will get but he never did and drove until the fuel was gone

Driver was qualified and scheduled to come in September 2023 (today is 11/28/23). Due to unforeseen circumstances he didnt take his drug test. His reason was "We had a family situation involving my nephew. The doctors are supposed to let us know if he needs to be transferred to another hospital today or not. If it's okay I'll touch base once we know that he's going to be okay. Hopefully you guys will still have a truck available at that time." After this he goes MIA. Fast Forward to November, we schedule a second date to do the drug test, yesterday, only this time there is a truck 2h from his house that needs to be recovered. So we schedule a second drug test and overnight a key and fuel card. Today, the day he was supposed to recover the truck he goes MIA again. I called over and over again until someone picked up and said the same number we have been speaking and texting on for months is actually a chinese restaurant and they have no idea who I am referring to when I ask for Derrick. (number ends in 0433). I called fedex and had them return the package before delivery so that crisis was averted but what I want to say is this guy is a total joke, waste of time and space, not reliable, not honest or dependable, not serious about working and i recommend you stay away from him. UPDATE 11/28/23 2:12PM an email from his mother: "Hi I'm Barbara Bruso. My son Derrik Brooks was looking forward to starting work for your company but he and his uncle were involved in a serious accident yesterday evening. Derrik is in intensive care now and we're waiting for an update on his condition. I'm praying that he pulls through. Right now I'm handling his affairs since he's unable to. Sincerely Barbara." How far can people go??? I don't know what to believe anymore.

Get truck in Sarasota FL get couple loads after one delivery - gone. Empty , overnight driven from Kansas City to Romeoville IL and dropped the truck.

He started with a load to Texas. He parked at unsecured parking near his house and reported ramps stolen from him overnight. Later on, he kept taking the loads, going to pick them up, and rejecting them due to BS reasons. He calls himself a man of the word and integrity but failed to deliver on that more than twice. When I sent a driver to repossess the truck, he was cooperative, the truck was parked at a secured parking lot, but we discovered undisclosed damage on the side of the truck. The driver reported that he did not notify us cause he thought it was not a big deal.

I have spent more them $500 expenses and he changed his mind in the first day of his employment, weird guy- waste of time and money Missed his first flight, got him another flight, he did the orientation and on the next day prior his first dispatch decided that he doesn't want to drive a truck

he stole company money. do not hire this guy!!! cashed fleet check was issued to give for service.

Terrible communication, constantly late disappear in the last day of orientation.

*** DO NOT GIVE THIS SO-CALLED DRIVER A CHANCE!! *** HE WILL DAMAGE THE TRUCK AND TRAILER AND WILL NOT REPORT TO THE FLEET MANAGER. HE DAMAGED 3 TRUCKS WHILE WORKING WITH US AND WE FLEET BAD SO WE GAVE HIM ONE LAST CHANCE, HE ENDED UP DAMAGING THE LAS TRUCK WE GAVE HIM, AND LET ME TELL YOU HE LEFT THE TRUCK SO DIRTY BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. AT THE END HE LEFT THE TRUCK AT A TRUCK STOP, TOLD US TO COME PICK IT UP, AND EVEN KEPT THE KEYS. HE IS A WAST OF TIME AND MONEY.

Driver was asking all the time, every week, about the cash advance and was constantly late for pick up or delivery. Eventually he stopped communicating with the dispatcher, pulled out ELD and without notifying anyone drove 860 miles and abandoned the truck with the trailer. Be careful DO NOT HIRE.

Classic CDL bum... worked for us for a few weeks and then abandoned loaded trailer at the truck stop, bobtailed home and abandoned bobtail on shoulder! Do not hire!!!

Very problematic and unsafe driver. He got many DOT violations during worked in our company. No recommend to hire this person. Update: in 2 weeks someone called to us and said that our driver hit his car at the Shipper and our driver gave him all our information and said that our insurance will cover everything. But he did not tell us something about this accident. IDIOT!!!

Abandoned loaded trailer, liar, does not comply with safety rules - disconnects eld device, using equipment for personal driving, late for appointments. Takes a whole family in the truck including little kids / toddlers without company permission. Excuses for not having a permanent address place for his family to stay. ( company lost over $4000 on unpaid fuel, cash advance, hotel reservations (for kids and partner) ect. Inside the truck smells like marihuana. Please don't waste your time on that driver. You'll save yourself time and lots of money.

If I new sooner what this guy represents I wouldn’t hire him, after paying his flight ticket, drug test and other expenses like renting for him a Conestoga, because he didn’t want to tarp, giving him a brand new truck) he simply left without saying a word to me, from what I understood from his buddy he complained that the truck wasn’t equipped with APU. What a joke!!!! He stole the GPS, LOGBOOK TABLET, VIDEO CAMERA from the truck. Btw he don’t speak much English only Spanish; the only form of communication is texting. Be aware of this driver, he will make everyone waste their time and money. Don’t make my mistakes!

This guy was like he is the best on the world from first load ,didnt close the conestoga in both sides and guess what happen? he broke the system because dont know how to secure new 2023 Conestoga , also work couple weeks always complaining and after drop the truck at yard and left and nobody know about , dispatch him the load but he left and dont give nothing like 2 weeks notice or to tell somebody he is leaving !

At first everything looked normal, driver did drug test and we brought him to the office, after arriving at the office he started acting crazy, threaten stuff and we didn't have any other option but just to ask him to leave. Would not recommend to hire because it's only waste of time and money.
