Second one is to verify the levels of essential fluids, including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid. Test the battery voltage and clean any corrosion on the terminals. I also think it's very important to check for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks in the belts and hoses.
