Blaze November 7 Share November 7 Where do I even begin? I tried booking a load with a regular broker, only to be told that due to information showing on Highway.com, we can no longer work together. The broker advised me to contact Highway to resolve this, but when I reached out, Highway said there's nothing they can do and will continue displaying outdated and inaccurate information.
Whisper3r November 7 Share November 7 It’s a tough situation. If they've decided to stop doing business with you, you’re left with limited options: File a lawsuit Use someone else's authority to book the load Neither of these is ideal, but there’s not much else you can do.
Solare November 7 Share November 7 Absolutely do NOT book a load using someone else's MC—that's illegal brokerage, and it could lead to a FreightGuard report that could ruin both your business and the carrier’s. Instead, consider filing a complaint with the DOT. These vetting services are supposed to use public data, and spreading false information could potentially violate MCA 1980. This hasn’t been legally tested, but it might be an option. You could either consult an attorney or submit multiple complaints to the DOT, providing evidence to strengthen your case.
