DRIVER RECRUITER - EXPERIENCED DRIVERS

The Driver Recruiter- Experienced Drivers is responsible for actively taking and making calls to prospective applicants who possess a Commercial Drivers License and meet basic minimum requirements. They are someone who enjoys sales, has the confidence to understand and sell all positive aspects of the driving position to include top quality equipment, income opportunities, options of becoming their own business owner through our independent contractor lease purchase programs, while working with a company that places Safety first as a core value.

This position must quickly and efficiently talk to applicants on a live call with a positive outlook to quickly pre-screen applicants that match our qualifications and push them to the qualification processor, stay in touch and energized with the candidates while the processing is being completed to approvement for onboarding to be scheduled.

The Driver Recruiter must be proactive and competitive in nature while still being able to thrive in a team environment of getting to know the drivers they recruit. The Driver Recruiter will deputize the drivers they have recruited to support and profit from our driver referral program. This position comes with a strong base wage and is highly incentivized with the ability to make six figures annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using a selling not telling approach, answer all inquiries from prospective applicants in a positive manner with a high sense of urgency utilizing all forms of communication with the primary channel being live calls.
  • Utilize our software to record and track the processing of all pre-screened applicants until approved.
  • Take ownership of each applicant from the initial call through the processing stage and once qualified to attend onboarding, until the driver’s retirement.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position is expected to produce a minimum of four (4) drivers per week and does not have authority or responsibility to provide an offer of employment to any applicant.
  • Two (2) years of telemarketing, sales or recruiting experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think and react quickly while maintaining a high rate of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Self-disciplined, with the ability to think outside the box, but produce minimum recruiting numbers, while staying within the hiring guidelines established by the Safety/Compliance group.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, camera, and fax machines. On-site attendance is an essential function of this position.

The employee is regularly required to effectively communicate while sitting, standing, and be capable of dealing with occasional distractions.

The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
